Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 3, 2026

This policy covers all games made by Jabuti Games, including Scales of Prophecy and every future title. It is short because our approach is simple:

We don’t collect any data about you. None.

What we collect

Nothing. Our games are 100% offline: the game itself makes no network connections of its own, and there are no accounts and no sign-up. We do not collect, store off your device, or transmit any personal information. The only exception is optional in-app purchases, which are handled entirely by Apple’s App Store (see Optional purchases below) — we never receive any data from them.

What stays on your device

The only information a game keeps is your game progress and a dragon name you choose to type in. This is saved only on your device so you can pick up where you left off. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. Deleting the app removes it.

What we never do

  • No ads.
  • No third-party analytics, advertising, or other SDKs.
  • No tracking, profiling, or advertising identifiers.
  • No device identifiers and no location collection.
  • No third-party purchase, crash-reporting, or attribution SDKs — any purchases go only through Apple, never a third-party payment or analytics service.
  • Nothing is sold, shared, or sent off your device by us — there is nothing to send.

Optional purchases

Scales of Prophecy offers optional one-time purchases to unlock additional story chapters. All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store, under Apple’s own privacy policy. Jabuti Games never receives, collects, or stores any payment information, purchase history, or any other personal information. Before any purchase can begin, the app requires an adult to pass a parental gate, and Apple then requires the account holder’s authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or Apple ID password). Families using Ask to Buy will receive Apple’s standard approval request. Purchases are permanent, tied to your Apple account, and restorable on any of your devices. Accidental purchases can be refunded through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Children & families

Our games are made for children and families. Because we collect no data at all, we apply the strongest possible privacy protection to every player by design — the same maximum protection for everyone, regardless of age. This is how we meet children’s privacy rules such as the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): by simply never collecting anything. We provide this same age-appropriate, data-free protection consistent with newer children’s design standards, such as California’s Age-Appropriate Design Code.

Optional in-app purchases can only be started after an adult passes a parental gate, and Apple then requires the account holder’s own authentication before any purchase is completed. See Optional purchases above.

Our website

Our games collect nothing — the only place you can choose to give us anything is this website, and only by typing it in yourself:

  • Support form. If you send us a message, what you write (including your email address) is delivered to us as an email so we can reply. It is not stored on our servers.
  • Launch list. If you ask to be notified when a game launches, we store your email address and the date you signed up — nothing else — securely with our hosting provider (Cloudflare). We use it to send you one launch announcement, we never share or sell it, and we delete the list after that announcement goes out. Want off the list sooner? Message us and we’ll remove you right away.

The website itself uses no analytics, no cookies, and no trackers.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will update the effective date above. Since we collect nothing, we do not expect meaningful changes.
